The team has been doing very well this season and has a lot to celebrate; winning the Little League World Series 2009 will be the icing on the cake for them. According to huliq.com, Warner Robin is the only city to have won both the boys and girls Little League World Series titles.

The boys have already made a great start by beating Mercer Island, Washington 10-2 on Friday. It was Justin Jones who helped the team take the win with some strong hitting and pitching, he managed to strike out five hitters. The son of manager Randy Jones only allowed three hits in the game. former world lightweight champion Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz has thrilled fight fans for years with his aggressive style and willingness to take on all comers. Although just 25 years old, Diaz is a 35 fight veteran, having made his professional debut at the age of 17 after a stellar amateur career that saw him win 105 of 110 fights. He apparently capped off his amateur stint by earning a spot on the 2000 Mexican Olympic team, but he was later informed that he was too young to compete, forcing him to look to the pro ranks instead of waiting four more years for the next Olympic Games.

On June 23, 2000, Diaz debuted with a first round stoppage of Rafael Ortiz in Mexico, where he fought his first three pro fights. By the end of the year though, he was fighting in Las Vegas and garnering a significant buzz for his ‘take no prisoners’ attack.

Diaz went 6-0 with 5 KOs in 2000, and he added seven wins to his ledger in 2001. One of those wins, a decision victory over Ubaldo Hernandez, saw him gut out a close fight against a seasoned opponent. That fight was a turning point for Diaz, who went on a 10-0 tear during 2002-2003 and established himself as one of the top contenders for the lightweight crown.

In 2004, his time would come to challenge for 135 pound supremacy when he battled veteran Lakva Sim in his hometown of Houston on July 17, 2004. 12 dominant rounds later, there was a new WBA world lightweight champion, and his name was Juan Diaz.

Not content to sit on his title, Diaz defended his crown at a breakneck pace, winning six title fights in a row against all challengers. What made his reign even more incredible is that he was juggling a full load of college courses at the University of Houston at the same time.

On April 28, 2007, if there were any skeptics left regarding Diaz’ standing among the elite, they were silenced when he stopped 38-1 Brazilian superstar Acelino Freitas in eight rounds, adding the WBO title belt to his waist in the process. Less than six months later, Diaz won a third 135-pound title, halting Julio Diaz in nine rounds.

And though Diaz would drop a close split decision to Nate Campbell in his last bout on March 8th, Diaz immediately went back to the gym to prepare for a big surge that he hopes will lead him back to the world title. To help him get there, the ‘Baby Bull’ enlisted Golden Boy Promotions to lead him to the biggest fights possible in the coming years.

“I’m excited to be on the Golden Boy Promotions roster and I can’t wait to get back in the ring with Oscar and his team behind me,” said Diaz. “I’ve gained a lot of experience over the last couple of years, in and out of the ring, and I can’t wait to prove to boxing fans that I’m the best lightweight in the world.”

President of Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar de la Hoya, continued, “I don’t think there’s a more exciting young fighter out there than Juan Diaz, and I’m glad we’re finally working together. We’ve got big plans for Juan and we can’t wait to start putting him into the mega fights he deserves to be in.”

Diaz returned to the ring on September 6, 2008 to face Australia’s Michael Katsidis in a highly-anticipated clash for the IBO lightweight championship, and he showed no ill effects from his lone pro loss as he boxed brilliantly en route to a 12 round decision victory.

Outside the ring, Diaz is currently studying to get his undergraduate degree at the University of Houston and upon graduation will then start law school at the University of Houston. He has also garnered acclaim for his community work and activism in the Houston area.

Juan Diaz has now won the NABO junior welterweight championship by beating Paulie Malignaggi in a unanimous decision, which went the complete 12-rounds on Saturday night. Diaz from Houston received a cut in the second round and had to fight the following 10 with the cut just above his eye, but he did not allow that to deter him.

The final scorecards were 118-110, 116-112 and 115-113 in the favor of Diaz. According to sources, Malignaggi said that the decision was “ridiculous” he has now asked for a rematch, one that he wants to take in his hometown of New York City.

This was a great comeback for Diaz, who had lost to Juan Manuel Marquez back in February. Marquez is all set to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Sept. 19. Diaz has said that he hopes that his win will now allow home to fight the winner of that upcoming fight.

Quentin Tarantino has been a lot of things in his nearly 20-year career (yes, Reservoir Dogs premiered at Sundance 17.5 years ago, and yes, that makes you old), from enfant terrible to Oscar winner to untouchable fanboy icon, but he’s never seemed to strain so hard to just make a Quentin Tarantino Film as he does as writer/director of Inglourious Basterds. An 160 minute farce of historical revision, Basterds unfold in five chapters, all but one featuring a major act of violence padded with lots of footage of people sitting at tables, talking, in four different languages (five if you count Tarantino Speak, that American English dialect clogged with arcane, movie-sourced and invented slang spoken by Bible-quoting hit men and yellow jumpsuited hit women alike). So far so good, right? But the talking is notably lacking in the spark and rhythm that we’ve come to expect from Tarantino, and with a fair four-fifths of the film given over to character exposition and dull chatter, the violent setpieces feel rushed along, devoid of both the poetics of Kill Bill’s fight sequences and the rock n’ roll efficiency of the rest of his filmography.

Neal Wanless of rural Mission today claimed the 9th largest Powerball jackpot won in the history of the multi-state lottery game.

The 23-year-old rancher appeared with South Dakota Lottery officials at an award ceremony in Pierre after claiming the $232.1 million he won in the May 27 drawing.

Wanless chose to receive the jackpot as a one-time cash prize of $118,005,530. After federal tax withholding, he will receive a prize payment $88,504,147, not including another $100 he won on the same ticket.

The jackpot- winning numbers represent the day and month of family members' birthdays. The lucky combination was the fourth of five plays on a $5 ticket.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Ampride store in Winner.
Wanless and his family stop at the store when they make the 35-mile trip to Winner to buy feed. The store will receive a $50,000 bonus for selling the lucky ticket.

On the night of Wednesday, May 27, Neal joked with his parents, Arlen and Nancy, about his Powerball tickets and needing to drive to Pierre the next day "to deposit a big check". He didn't discover until the next morning that the whimsical remark would prove foretelling.

Neal checked the Lottery's Web site for the winning numbers on Thursday morning. He first checked the Powerball number, knew it matched a play on the ticket, and checked the white ball numbers. "I felt something when I got into Miami on Sunday," Donovan said. "I just felt real bad and finally went to see the doctor. They took a swab from my nose and confirmed it, so that was that."

According to the SI.com, Donovan told them that last week in the States, he contracted the virus. On Wednesday, he played a World Cup qualifying match against regional rivals Mexico in Mexico City. Reportedly, the ongoing swine flu pandemic began there. It was also reported that while taking a corner kick, he was showered human waste.

District 9 is a true tour de force debut; it has a robust story, well-drawn characters, emotional, superb action, and solid direction and will keep you interested from beginning to end. It’s a smart, socially conscious science-fiction film that requires audience attention and the audience thinking about the situations and what is going on. D9 is one of the best science fiction films of recent years and in my book, ties with The Hurt locker for being the best film of the summer.

- One of the BEST science fiction movies i’ve ever seen! If you’re a Sci-Fi movie fan, you must srsly watch this!

- It’s based on faux-documentary style like the Cloverfield movie

- Camera shakiness added more genuine feel to the movie, but at certain point i had some slight headache LOL (though the shakiness in Cloverfield movie was much worse!)

- Good visual effects and commentary throughout the movie. Considering it’s a $30 million low budget movie, it didn’t felt like it (as opposed to Transformers 2 which was $200 million budget movie).

It is not a scam because there are companies who actually offer this kind of opportunity. And there are real people who are participating in these programs all over the U.S. and Canada, as well as in many other countries.

They're called "free car" programs or "get paid to drive" promotions. These programs do exist, although they aren't as plentiful as they once were. The key is knowing where to look and having what it takes to make you an ideal advertising driver.

How it works
Here's the basic premise of the "paid to drive" concept: A company seeks people -- regular citizens, not professional drivers -- to go about their normal routine as they usually do, only with a big ad plastered on their car. The ads are typically vinyl decals, also known as "auto wraps," that almost seem to be painted on the vehicle, and which often cover a large portion of the car's exterior surface.

The car owner is then compensated, usually a few hundred dollars per month, which is essentially a "rental" payment for letting the company use that space. In the past, there's also been a "free car" version of this concept. The company provided the driver with a new, prewrapped car. In this situation, the drivers usually didn't get any cash; their payment amounted to the free use of a new car. However, companies quickly discovered that giving away a bunch of free cars didn't make economic sense, so few still take this approach, says Drew Livingston, president of Free Car Media in Los Angeles.

What does the company get out of this type of ad strategy? Lots of exposure. The auto wraps tend to be colorful and eye-catching and attract lots of attention. Plus, it's a form of advertising with a captive audience, meaning people who are stuck in traffic and can't avoid seeing the wrapped car alongside them, Livingston says.

The companies usually select drivers who live in desirable locations such as high-traffic, urban areas. A company's ideal driver can vary depending upon the target demographic they want to reach, according to Brandon Clarke of DrivenMedia, a Phoenix-based advertising company that specializes in creating branded vehicle campaigns for clients. For example, a tech or electronics company may seek drivers who live on or near college campuses, so as to gain exposure with the college crowd.

The vehicles in these programs are often equipped with GPS tracking devices, so the companies can make sure the drivers spend sufficient time in the desired areas.

Two dozen stuck on roller coaster in California. Rescue crews are using cherry pickers to remove two dozen people stranded between 40 and 80 feet off the ground on a roller coaster at a Northern California theme park.

Authorities say the riders on Great America Theme Park’s Invertigo Roller Coaster in Santa Clara, Calif. are being lowered one at a time into buckets at the end of aerial ladders. All of the riders are expected to be back on the ground by 5:30 p.m. Monday, about 4 1/2 hours after the roller coaster came to a stop.

Authorities had first reported 32 people were stuck on the ride.
Authorities are blaming the incident on mechanical failure.

As i see it looks like there are some people unable to show comment form in blogger, so i'm going to show you how can we add that thing. If you can't show your comment form in blogger than you're using older template design for your blog, please follow step below to Show your comment form.

Step 1.
Please Go to Setting --> Comments and change "Comment Form Placement" to "Embedded below post". Then save it. Preview your blog. If your comment box showed then you don't need to follow the next step. If it doesn't show then follow the next step.

Step 2.
Go to Layout >> Edit HTML >> Expand Widget templates and find code below

Until now, the Title Tags generated for each page of your Blogger blog would display the blog title first, then the name of your post. This wasn't so good for SEO (search engine optimization) as this made keywords from your post titles appear after your blog title.

So if you want to improve SEO that is important for your blog, follow step below.

1. Go to Layout > edit HTML in your Blogger dashboard.
2. Search for this tag:

3. Replace(means remove code above and place code below) this tag with the following:
